This year for Christmas I got more video games than I can play, more movies than I can watch and more books than I can read. All in all it's been a good Christmas. I hope everyone's Christmas has been as good.

Dr. Horrible

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, I was turned on to Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog. I watched it twice through today. My friend Skyla loves Joss Whedon so I can't help thinking that she probably told me about it and it just slipped my mind. If that's true then I apologise Skyla, I should have watched it sooner.

Today I updated my personal info and watched the first disk of the second season of 30 Rock. I hope Sarah Palin runs in 2012 so we can have more impressions from Tina Fey. I am also enjoying looking at the frost patterns on my window.

On an unrelated topic, I find it annoying that President Elect Obama picked Rick Warren to speak at the inauguration. It seems to me to be politically unnecessary to drag up so much of the proposition 8 ugliness involved with Pastor Warren. This simply angers large portions of his political supporters in the name of national unity for the country. I believe an evangelical preacher less outspoken about social issues and more outspoken on poverty and the environment would have accomplished President Elect Obama's stated rational without as much controversy.
